The 2025 K-World Dream Awards (KWDA) will open the year-end award season next week. First introduced in 2017 as the Soribada Best K-Music Awards, the ceremony later rebranded as the K-Global Heart Dream Awards before taking on its current title.

Over the years, it has recognized many incredible talents in Korean music while serving as a major stage for memorable performances. 

Past ceremonies have crowned some of the biggest names in K-pop history, including BTS, EXO, TWICE, and Red Velvet. It once again prepares to award the talented K-pop artists who released catchy music. 

This year, many popular acts will take the stage, such as Stray Kids, BTOB, Kang Daniel, TXT, LE SSERAFIM, KiiiKiii, and more.

K-World Dream Awards Date & Venue

The 2025 K-World Dream Awards will be held on Thursday, August 21, 2025, at the Jamsil Indoor Stadium (also known as Jamsil Arena) in Seoul, South Korea. 

The festivities will begin with the Blue Carpet event at 4:30 p.m. KST, where artists and presenters will greet fans and media. The main awards ceremony will begin at 6:30 p.m. KST, followed by live performances and award announcements.

Potential contenders for the Daesang this year include Stray Kids, LE SSERAFIM, IVE, and TXT. Rookie awards are expected to feature new-generation groups like Hearts2Hearts, KickFlip, and KiiiKiiii.

The 2025 K-World Dream Awards will be streamed live exclusively on Hello Live. It will offer real-time AI subtitles in multiple languages, including English, Japanese, Chinese, Vietnamese, Thai, and Spanish. 

Fans who miss the live broadcast can catch edited replays from September 4 to 7, 2025. For those attending in person, tickets are available through Klook, Creatrip, and official vendors, with both ground-standing and second-floor assigned seating options.
