As 2025 comes to a close, K-pop fans gear up for one of the year’s biggest musical events: the 2025 SBS Gayo Daejeon. The next couple of weeks are pretty exciting with multiple year-end music festivals and award shows. MMA Awards 2025, MBC Gayo Daejejeon, to name a few. 

It is worth noting that 2025 saw two SBS Gayo Daejeon events. A special summer edition took place on July 26-27 at KINTEX in Ilsan, hosted by NCT’s Doyoung, IVE’s An Yujin, and TXT’s Yeonjun.

2025 SBS Gayo Daejeon Date

SBS Gayo Daejeon is scheduled for Christmas, December 25, 2025, and will be held at the state-of-the-art INSPIRE Arena in Incheon, South Korea. 

Top K-pop groups and idols will gather on Christmas Day to entertain fans. Fans can expect cross-group stages, special collabs, and performances of the 2025 hit songs. 

Hosts for the Night

A dynamic trio of hosts will lead the festival. Jaemin from NCT DREAM, IVE’s An Yujin from IVE, who returns for her third consecutive year, and Young K from DAY6.

The 2025 SBS Gayo Daejeon has revealed its lineup in three waves, 

First Lineup (Announced Oct. 21)

Second Lineup (Announced Nov. 10)

Third and Final lineup (Announced Nov. 24) 

Additionally, NCT’s Taeyong was added to the roster following his recent military discharge. 

Special Stages and Theme

SBS Gayo Daejeon is known for its collaborative stages, where artists from different groups perform together in unique, one-time-only sets. On December 16, the collaborations for this year were revealed. 

The 2025 festival carries the theme “Golden Loop”  to celebrate K-pop’s global impact. Attendees and viewers can look forward to creative medleys, dazzling production, and performances. 

How to Watch SBS Gayo Daejeon 2025 Live

For fans who cannot attend in person, SBS Gayo Daejeon 2025 will be broadcast live. SBS will air the festival in Korea, while international viewers can watch through platforms like SBS Play, KOCOWA+, and possibly YouTube via official channels such as SBS K-pop. Some platforms may require a subscription.
