The 61st Baeksang Arts Awards nominees have been announced, featuring a mix of established and rising stars in the Korean entertainment industry.
The eligibility criteria for the Baeksang Arts Awards 2025 include content provided on terrestrial, comprehensive, cable, and OTT channels from April 1, 2024 to March 31, 2025. This includes Korean feature-length films released domestically during the same period and plays performed.
The selection process involved a preliminary questionnaire conducted with 60 professional judges. It was followed by a strict screening process, during which judges for each category, recommended by a group of experts representing broadcasting, film, and theater, decided the candidates and winners. The entertainment category in the broadcasting sector also includes content provided on the web.
The 61st Baeksang Arts Awards with Gucci will be held at COEX D Hall in Gangnam-gu, Seoul at 8 PM on May 5. Italian luxury brand Gucci will participate as a partner for the third consecutive year, and the event will be live-streamed simultaneously on JTBC, JTBC2, and JTBC4.
