On December 27, the news of Lee Sun Kyun’s passing broke out, he was currently under investigation for drug use.
According to authorities, Lee Sun Kyun was found unconscious in a car at Waryong Park in Jeongro-gu, Seoul. Traces of drug use were reportedly discovered in the car.
There were several reports and accusations surrounding Lee Sunkyun regarding drug use. Allegedly, these incidents occurred at the residence of an individual named Mr. A, who is said to be an employee of an entertainment establishment in Gangnam, Seoul. These accusations have been circulating since the beginning of this year.
According to reports, it’s been stated that he left his home the day before his death. The police have mentioned that he left a note resembling a will before departing the house around 10:12 a.m. It was his wife, actor Jeon Hye-jin, who contacted emergency services (112) to report that he was missing along with their vehicle.
A search was conducted, and at 10:30 a.m., an unconscious man believed to be Lee Sun Kyun was found in a vehicle at Waryong Park in Jongno-gu, Seoul.
The man found in the vehicle was indeed identified as Lee Sun-Kyun and he had passed away. The fire department has confirmed that he was pronounced dead at the scene and was not transported to the hospital.
