Back in November 2023, it was announced that aespa’s Karina will be appearing in the new variety show, Agents of Mystery, directed by Jung Jong Yeon.
On February 6, when the Netflix 2024 lineup was released, it was revealed that the show will be airing in the second quarter of this year.
Today, episode 27 of TEO Channel’s Salon Drip 2 was revealed with Karina as a guest.
Karina, who is an ambassador for Converse, gave the host a pair of the trendy Converse De Luxe Square.
On the show, Karina, who stars in the exciting new entertainment show Agents of Mystery, shared her thoughts. She revealed, “I was curious what the PD saw in me to suggest casting me. I wanted to ask because I was curious why he cast me when I had no experience in regular entertainment, but I couldn’t ask because I was shy.”
The aespa member continued, “Because it is a mystery investigation entertainment show, there were scary things and the scale was very large. Water splashed and flipped over… but I was able to survive safely.”
In the pre-interview, Karina mentioned that she wasn’t scared of anything, except for birds. However, during filming, she encountered a situation that frightened her.
Despite her fear, she chose not to say anything at the time. The PD eventually encouraged her to share her feelings, but it was a difficult moment for her.
Karina’s chosen travel program as her new entertainment venture showcases her determination to face her fears and overcome challenges.
While the release date is not revealed, it is confirmed that the show will be available on Netflix in the second quarter of 2024.
