In Korea, Children’s Day is celebrated on May 5, and many artists have come out to support underprivileged children.

Ahn Hyo Seop Donated 50 Million Won to Children in Need

On May 4, the UNICEF Korean Committee, led by Chairman Jeong Gap Young, revealed that the Dr. Romantic 3 actor generously contributed 50 million won to aid children globally. This donation aimed to support underprivileged children worldwide, offering a helping hand to those in need. 

The funds will be directed towards assisting children affected by war, disaster, poverty, and illness.

Before his donation, the 29-year-old actor donated his talent to the UNICEF Team campaign by participating in new videos and photo shoots. The content featuring Ahn Hyo Seop will be unveiled on the UNICEF Korean Committee website on May 27.

Kim Go Eun Donated 50 Million Won for Children’s Medical Care

On May 3, Kim Go Eun pitched in 50 million won to a children’s hospital to enhance medical care for kids. She has been donating persistently for four years straight since 2021.

The contribution made by the Goblin actress goes towards aiding patients facing financial struggles, with a focus on those children in medically underserved areas. 

EXO’s Chanyeol Donated 20 Million Won to Support Children with Hearing Impairment

On May 3, Chanyeol from EXO generously donated 20 million won to help hearing-impaired children.

The Snail of Love, an organization that supports the hearing impaired, revealed that the 31-year-old idol made a 20 million won donation to assist hearing-impaired children ahead of Children’s Day.

Chanyeol’s contribution will support projects like cochlear implant surgery, speech therapy, and providing external devices for hearing-impaired children.
