Shortly after his breakup rumors with fromis_9’s Lee Saerom surfaced, Lee Chanhyuk is embroiled in dating rumors once again, this time with actress Ha Ji Soo.
According to an exclusive report by TenAsia on January 23, AKMU’s Lee Chanhyuk is reportedly dating actress Ha Ji Soo. As reported, they have been dating for over a year.
An industry insider revealed to TenAsia, “They spend time together without worrying about what others think, and are dating naturally like any young couple.”
YG Entertainment, AKMU’s agency, has addressed the dating rumors, stating, “We cannot confirm matters related to the artist’s personal life.”
Lee Chan Hyuk and Ha Ji Soo first met while collaborating on the project album “leechanhyukvideo,” specifically on the album “Umbrella,” which dropped in June 2023.
This unique project featured 12 remade tracks, arranged by the 29-year-old singer, and performed by a diverse range of artists. The lineup included Im Siwan, Go Ah Sung, Lee Se Young, Jang Yoon Joo, Shin Bong Sun, Seol In Ah, ITZY’s Chaeryeong, and Jang Ki Ha.
The album was a huge hit, and Ha Ji Soo was cast as the female lead in the music video for the double title track “Dance”. In the video, she and the AKMU member played lovers. The 30-year-old actress also made appearances in the album’s songs “Fly Your Kite” and “Waltz of Tears”.
More recently, Lee Chanhyuk was embroiled in breakup rumors with fromis_9 member Lee Saerom. Although they never publicly acknowledged their relationship, they were spotted together at the recording studio, holding hands. At the time, their agencies declined to comment on their relationship status.
Once the breakup rumors surfaced, YG Entertainment stated that it was difficult to confirm.
