All Five NewJeans Members — Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin, and Hyein — Back with ADOR

The remaining three NewJeans members — Danielle, Hanni, and Minji — have decided to return to their agency, ADOR, following Haerin and Hyein’s earlier announcement. With this, all five members of NewJeans are now back under ADOR. They ended their year-long legal dispute that had kept fans on edge.

ADOR announced the return of Haerin and Hyein on November 12, saying they decided to stay with the label after long discussions with their families. Soon after, Minji, Hanni, and Danielle shared their own statement through their lawyers at Hanil Law Firm.

After careful discussions, we have decided to return to ADOR. One of our members is currently in Antarctica, so the communication was delayed. As ADOR has not yet responded, we are inevitably sharing our position separately. We will continue to bring you music and performances with sincerity. Thank you.

ADOR responded briefly, saying, “We are currently checking with them.”

This marks a turning point for NewJeans, who had spent nearly a year in legal conflict with their agency. The dispute began in late 2024, when all five members tried to end their exclusive contracts following the dismissal of ADOR’s former CEO, Min Hee Jin. The group cited a loss of trust in the company and attempted to continue activities independently under the name NJZ earlier this year.

ADOR fought back and took legal action to confirm that the members’ contracts were still valid. On October 30, the Seoul Central District Court ruled in favor of ADOR, stating that there were no valid grounds for contract termination. The court confirmed that the members’ exclusive contracts remain effective until 2029.

Following the ruling, Haerin and Hyein were the first to accept the decision and agree to resume their activities with ADOR. Now, with Minji, Hanni, and Danielle joining them, NewJeans is finally reunited as a full group again.

ADOR had previously said that it was already preparing for the group’s upcoming activities, including a new full-length album. Now that all five NewJeans members are back, fans — affectionately known as Bunnies — can finally look forward to seeing them return to music and the stage together.
