Apink, one of K-pop’s most cherished groups, is reportedly planning their reunion as a 5-member unit!

As reported by Xport News on October 16, Apink will reunite for a two-day solo concert at the KBS Arena in Seoul’s Gangseo-gu district on December 21-22.

If confirmed, the girl group will return to the stage after a four-year hiatus, following their 2020 show ‘Welcome to PINK’. Notably, it will also be their first performance as a five-member group (Park Chorong, Yoon Bomi, Jeong Eunji, Kim Nam Joo, Oh Ha Young) since Son Naeun’s departure in 2020.

Son Naeun departed following scheduling conflicts in April 2022. Another Apink member Hong Yookyung withdrew from the group to focus on her studies in April 2013.

Apink began their music career on April 19, 2011, with the release of their debut mini-album, “Seven Springs of Apink.” Since then, the group has released many hit singles and albums including “It Girl,” “One & Six,” “Pink Love,” “Promise U,” “The Wave,” and more.

Last year, they made their comebacks with the mini-album “Self” in April and digital single “Pink Christmas” in December.

Apink celebrated 13 years in April with a special gift to fans: the song “Wait Me There,” written by leader Park Chorong.
