After the departure of Ziwoo this month, the K-pop group ARrC is welcoming a new member Andy to complete the 7-member lineup.

On January 31, the group’s agency, Mystic Story announced, “Andy, who has been active in JTBC’s ‘Project 7,’ has joined ARrC as a new member. ARrC will continue its activities as a 7-member group in the future.”

Mystic Story continued, “ARrC is currently preparing for a follow-up album and is doing its best to meet fans soon with good music and performances.”

They added, “Andy and the ARrC members have built their friendship by practicing together since before their debut, so we ask for a lot of interest in their upcoming activities based on their strong teamwork.”

Born on April 19, 2007, Andy is a Japanese-American singer, who gained popularity for his participation in JTBC’s “Project 7”. Although he was unable to debut with CLOSE YOUR EYES due to ranking 19th in the show’s finale, he will enter the K-pop scene with ARrC.

The 17-year-old singer won over audiences in ‘Project 7’ with his kind and considerate nature. In particular, he assisted foreign members with communication by speaking Korean, English, and Japanese. His infectious energy and vibrant personality earned him the title of “human vitamin.”

Meanwhile, ARrC debuted as Mystic Story’s first boy group with seven members. At the time of their debut, the lineup consisted of Hyunmin, Kien, Choi Han, Rioto, Ziwoo, Doha, and Jibeen. Ziwoo departed due to personal reasons, and now, Andy has stepped in as 7th member.

The group debuted in August 2024 with EP “AR^C” and now will release new music with the newest addition, Andy.
