The idol-turned-pitcher is back, and better than ever!
Cha Eunwoo threw the ceremonial first pitch for the third time at the Jamsil Baseball Stadium in Seoul on August 11.
The True Beauty actor kicked off the 2024 Shinhan SOL BANK KBO League game between the NC Dinos and LG Twins.
He has thrown three ceremonial first pitches, including his latest one. Looking back, LG Twins won the game after his first pitch in 2017 but lost after his second pitch in 2021. So, LG has a 1-1 record in games where Cha Eunwoo throws the first pitch.
Ahead of the baseball match, he shared his excitement about throwing his third pitch, saying, “This is the third time I have thrown the first pitch for LG, following 2017 and 2021. I am so happy and honored, LG won the championship for the first time in 29 years last year. I will always cheer them on so they can continue their winning streak.”
Cha Eunwoo rose to fame with ASTRO and gained even more popularity as an actor. He appeared in many dramas including True Beauty, My ID is Gangnam Beauty, A Good Day To Be A Dog, Wonderful World, and more.
On the work front, he made his solo debut with his first mini-album, ENTITY, and went on a fan-con tour. He is currently filming a variety show, Living in a Rented House in Finland (literal title).
