ATEEZ’s latest mini-album, GOLDEN HOUR: Part.3, has surprised fans with lower-than-expected first-day sales figures. It marked a noticeable drop compared to previous releases.

According to Hanteo, ATEEZ’s 12th mini-album, GOLDEN HOUR: Part.3, which dropped on June 13, 2025, sold approximately 240,162 copies on its debut day. This is significantly less than the over half-million copies (757,632) that Part.1 sold within just 12 hours last year. Part.2 recorded 617,876 copies on the first day.

This is their seventh-highest first-day sales, only surpassed by

During the media showcase held before the album release, ATEEZ described the album, saying

We tried to include our unique color in this album. It’s a song that gives off a strong summer vibe, which we haven’t shown in a while.

‘GOLDEN HOUR: Part.3’ was the final part of the trilogy, and ATINYs had high expectations that this summer comeback album would break the previous sales record. Some fans believe the sales were lower because the album was not widely accessible or restocked.

Industry analysts speculate that the subdued numbers could stem from the trilogy’s rapid release schedule (Part.1 in May 2024, Part.2 in late 2024, and Part.3 in June 2025). This may have diluted fan purchasing momentum.

Part.1 was released right after ATEEZ’s historic, high-profile Coachella performances, so it benefited a lot from their renewed popularity. Part.3’s rollout was quieter, with minimal pre-release hype beyond a standard teaser schedule.

Despite the sales dip, GOLDEN HOUR : Part.3 topped Worldwide and European iTunes Album charts. It settled at No. 5 on US iTunes and reached #1 in over 17 regions. The title track, Lemon Drop, shot to No. 1 on the iTunes Top Song Chart in countries like Kenya, Argentina, Chile, and more. The music video of the lead single has garnered 14 million views in just a day.

The album debuted at the top of Hanteo Chart’s real-time physical album chart and Circle Chart’s real-time retail album chart. Lemon Drop shot to the top of Bugs’ real-time chart, with all top 5 spots occupied by songs from the album. B-side tracks include Masterpiece, Castle, Now This House Ain’t a Home, and Bridge: The Edge of Reality.

Meanwhile, ATEEZ will embark on a world tour, IN YOUR FANTASY, on July 5-6 in Incheon, South Korea. They will begin the North America leg on July 10 with a show in Atlanta, followed by stops in New York, Baltimore, Nashville, Orlando, and more.
