Gongchan, a member of the K-pop group B1A4, has announced his departure from WM Entertainment, the agency he has called home for 13 years.
On August 21, WM Entertainment announced the news of his departure, stating, “After a long and in-depth discussion with B1A4’s Gongchan, we have decided to end our individual management contract as of June 30, 2024.”
WM Entertainment expressed gratitude to Gongchan for his 13-year partnership and to fans for their unwavering support. Although Gongchan is leaving the agency, WM Entertainment will continue to manage the activities of B1A4 members.
It is worth noting that he is not leaving the group and will continue to participate in B1A4 activities under the management of WM Entertainment.
Gongchan debuted as a member of B1A4 in April 2011, a boy group formed by WM Entertainment. Since then, the label has managed his group and solo activities. However, he will now be looking for a new agency to pursue solo endeavors.
As he bids farewell to WM Entertainment, fans are left wondering what’s next for this talented artist.
