GOT7 Bangkok Ticketing Controversy
GOT7’s upcoming Bangkok concert has faced some challenges due to ticketing issues. International fans reported difficulty purchasing tickets, despite promises of equal access, while Thai fans received priority entry. This has been a sensitive topic since it is the group’s first overseas concert in six years and not part of a larger tour.
With two members (Youngjae and Yugyeom) soon enlisting and no future group activities planned for several years, fans are disappointed to miss this rare opportunity. While most criticism has been directed at the organizer, 411 Entertainment, some backlash reached GOT7 members. Jackson, Mark, and Jay B have all responded, expressing their desire for a concert inclusive for all fans.
Organizer’s Response
After the intense backlash, the organizers 411 Entertainment updated with guidelines for international ticket holders in an official statement.
We sincerely apologize for the issues that occurred regarding the queueing process for standing ticket holders. After further discussions with all involved parties again, The organizer would like to outline the queueing procedure as follows; The first 1,500 payment-completed ticket holders from each sales round — both the LOCAL PRE-SALE and the GLOBAL PUBLIC SALE- totaling 3,000 people per side (SR & SL), will be admitted to the venue together, as originally announced. Additional details are as follows:
• Ticket holders with queue numbers from 1501 onwards, from both the LOCAL PRE-SALE and GLOBAL PUBLIC SALE rounds, will not participate in the run queue system. Entry for these guests will be based on scheduled time slots, which will be communicated in due course.
• Please note that the queue number printed on your physical ticket is not your official queue number, due to some customers not completing payment within the required time. As a result, the actual queue may not align with the printed ticket number. Attendees will be able to verify their accurate queue number via an official queue check link, which will be announced separately.
We sincerely apologize for any distress or confusion this may have caused. The organizing team remains fully committed to listening to all concerns and feedback from attendees and will continue to make improvements to ensure the best possible experience for everyone.
