Billboard Announces 25 Best K-pop Songs of 2023

As the year is approaching its end, Billboard has selected some amazing K-pop songs from groups like NewJeans, IVE, and BTS Jimin as the best of 2023.

On December 28, Billboard, the American music magazine, revealed their list of the 25 ‘Best K-Pop songs of 2023. NewJeans got two songs on the list, Super Shy and OMG. Not only that, but artists like BTS Jimin, IVE, Crush, and SEVENTEEN also made the cut.

According to Billboard, they considered K-pop as a broad term that encompasses various genres of Korean popular music. Their selection criteria focused on songs that were released in Korean in at least one version. 

The list includes a diverse range of artists from different K-pop genres, such as the leading idol groups, and vocalists. Many artists like Crush, LE SSERAFIM Dynamic Duo, Lee Young-ji, Woodz, Sik-K, Jay Park, and more.
