BLACKPINK finally reunited to celebrate their 8th debut anniversary!
On August 8, all BLACKPINK members, Lisa, Jennie, Jisoo, and Rosé, gathered to celebrate their 8 years in the industry with 88 lucky fans.
After nearly a year apart, BLACKPINK finally reunited with their fans at a recent event. Overjoyed attendees shared fond memories of the group and expressed their eagerness to see them again.
During the meeting, fans also inquired about BLACKPINK’s future plans, upcoming solo releases, and highly anticipated group comeback.
When asked about her debut album, Jennie revealed that she is going to begin promotional activities soon and the album will be a ‘variety of genres.’
Jisoo also shared plans about a solo release this year since she is done with the filming of Newtopia (formerly known as Influenza) and Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint.
While Rosé and Lisa admitted to working on exciting new things, they refused to give a spoiler and asked fans to look forward to their activities.
After the fan sign event, they went live on Weverse again to thank fans who came to meet them and BLINKs all around the world.
Previously, they communicated with fans through Weverse live ahead of the highly-awaited reunion.
BLACKPINK has gained immense global success in a short time in the world of fashion, music, and entertainment. They are celebrating a major milestone this year, their 8th year in the industry.
While they are making a comeback next year, they will make another public appearance as a full group at the movie screening of the concert film ‘Born Pink’ today (August 9).
