YG Entertainment made the announcement that BLACKPINK members won’t be signing further contracts with the agency for their solo activities.

On December 29, YG made an official statement informing that they have recently extended the contract for Blackpink’s group activities, but there won’t be any separate additional contracts for their individual activities.

In addition, YG expressed their commitment to fully support BLACKPINK’s activities and warmly support the members’ individual endeavors.

On December 6, YG and BLACKPINK signed an exclusive contract for their group activities. In addition, the agency announced that they’re planning to release a new album and go on a big world tour.

While the other members are still considering which agency to sign with for their individual activities, Jennie has gone ahead and launched her own label called ODD ATTELIER to manage her solo endeavors.

Previously, there were some reports suggesting that Lisa might sign with an international label. In the next few days, BLINKs will finally get to know which agencies the other BLACKPINK members will be signing with.
