Jennie has found herself in hot waters right after the release of her full-length album “Ruby”.
The BLACKPINK vocalist was under fire for her daring looks at recent “The Ruby Experience” concerts in Los Angeles. She performed songs from her latest album to an energized crowd during the two-day shows in LA on March 6 and 7.
During her performance at ‘The Ruby Experience’ tour, Jennie wore a white, deep-V ruched bodysuit that made headlines.
At one point, she was seen quickly adjusting her outfit to prevent a wardrobe malfunction, and the moment was captured on video. The clip circulated widely across social media platforms, which sparked a range of reactions from fans and viewers.
Furthermore, Jennie’s choice of a black outfit that revealed her underwear has also received massive backlash.
Notably, the performance has been rated suitable for audiences aged 12 and above. Netizens are now questioning whether Jennie’s provocative dance moves and bold outfits are appropriate for young audiences.
Meanwhile, Jennie released her first solo album, ‘Ruby‘ last week. The album has 15 songs, including the title track ‘like JENNIE’. It shows off her talent and style as a solo performer and features a variety of music genres. She will hold another concert in New York on March 10 followed by a show at INSPIRE Arena in Incheon on March 15.
To celebrate the release of ‘Ruby’, a special pop-up event called ‘Ruby Pie’ will run from now until March 13 at the Hyundai Card Music Library/Vinyl & Plastic in Seoul’s Yongsan-gu district. Fans can visit the pop-up to immerse themselves in her debut solo album ‘Ruby’.
