Contrary to previous rumors of an early 2025 solo comeback, recent reports suggest that Jisoo will release his debut album this year.

BLACKPINK members have released solo music so far except Jisoo, therefore, BLINKs were eagerly awaiting new updates from her.

According to a report by Xports News on November 8, Jisoo is in the final stages of preparation for her solo comeback, slated for release within the year.

Additionally, the 29-year-old singer is scheduled to film a music video for the upcoming release this month. She has previously repeatedly hinted at a solo comeback, saying it would be “worth the wait.”

Her agency BLISSOO has not confirmed or denied the rumors, stating, “Nothing has been decided yet.”

After parting ways with YG last year, she established her personal label BLISSOO. Jisoo has focused on her acting ventures for most of 2024 and wrapped filming for the movie “Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint” and the zombie drama “Newtopia.”

As per reports, she began filming for her rom-com drama “Monthly Boyfriend” opposite Seo In Guk last month.

Amidst a hectic filming schedule, Jisoo prioritized fan demands and worked on her comeback. She made her debut as a soloist with the single “ME” last year and became the first million-selling K-pop female soloist.

On another note, BLACKPINK members in their solo era are killing it on the charts. Lisa, Jennie, and Rosé have already made waves as solo artists. Jennie’s ‘Mantra‘ and Rosé’s ‘APT.’ collaboration with Bruno Mars particularly captivated audiences. Lisa has released three solo singles this year and is working on a studio album.

Now, all eyes are on Jisoo, the final member to step up as a solo singer, to see if she will replicate the success of her bandmates.

After focusing on solo pursuits, BLACKPINK will regroup in 2025 under YG Entertainment, launching a comeback and world tour.
