BLACKPINK’s Jisoo, Lee Min Ho, Ahn Hyo Seop, and Nana Attend the Script Reading for Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint

The movie adaptation of the widely popular Naver web novel Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint has officially announced its star-studded cast. Lee Min Ho, Ahn Hyo Seop, Chae Soo-bin, Shin Seung-ho, Nana, Park Ho-san, Choi Young-jun, and BLACKPINK’s Jisoo are all part of the talented lineup. 

Filming for the movie began last December, adding to the anticipation.

The whole cast attended the script reading for the movie. The Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint team shared that the actors had a friendly exchange of greetings during the script reading. Once the reading started, they completely immersed themselves in their roles, bringing great heat and energy to the scene, even in the chilly weather.

Directed by Kim Byung Woo, Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint novel that has been serialized for 10 years. The plot follows Kim Dok-ja, played by Ahn Hyo Seop, who is the only person aware of the story’s ending in a world that’s been devastated. 

Together with the novel’s main character, Yoo Jung-hyuk, portrayed by Lee Min Ho, they embark on a long journey to save the world.

Since the beginning, the cast of the movie has grabbed a lot of attention globally. Lee Min Ho, who portrays the main character, has showcased his acting skills through his various works. He will be essaying the role of Yoo Jung-hyuk, who has the ability to return after death.

In the film adaptation, Ahn Hyo Seop, who is widely loved for his roles in Dr. Romantic 3 and Business Proposal. He plays a crucial character who knows the ending of the novel.

Last but not least, BLACKPINKs Jisoo made her acting debut in Snowdrop and now she’s taking on the role of Lee Ji-hye in the film. In the novel, Lee Ji-hye is a colleague of Yoo Jung-hyuk and she’s known for her incredible fighting skills. She joins Kim Dok-ja on his journey and together they overcome many challenges.
