K-pop powerhouse BLACKPINK continues to shatter records and make history!

Lisa, the talented Thai-born rapper and dancer, has joined her bandmate Jennie as the only K-pop female soloist to achieve a monumental milestone – surpassing 1 billion views on YouTube with her solo track!

On May 25, the exclusive performance video of her solo track, Money, hit 1 billion views on YouTube. Previously, the hit song surpassed 1 billion streams on Spotify.

With this, Lisa becomes the second K-pop soloist, after Jennie, to reach the coveted 1 billion views mark on YouTube. Jennie’s Solo song, dropped in November 2018, surpassed 1 billion views in February this year.

Not to mention, Money is the fastest K-pop song by a soloist to exceed 1 billion views on YouTube. The song, dropped in September 2021, achieved this significant milestone in over 2 years.

Furthermore, the 27-year-old rapper has exciting things lined up for BLINKs and Lilies including a Hollywood debut, an upcoming solo album, and a possible collab with Rosalía.

In other news, Lisa established her personal label, LLOUD, earlier this year and signed with RCA Records for the release of solo music.
