Lisa of BLACKPINK

BLACKPINK’s Lisa is really keeping us on our toes! Just a few days after announcing her label, LLOUD, she dropped another major bombshell.

After Jennie, Lisa is confirmed to make her Hollywood acting debut with HBO Original series, The White Lotus. She is now the second member of BLACKPINK to join an HBO series, following Jennie’s debut in The Idol.

Lisa will be making an appearance in the third season of the show, but they haven’t spilled the beans on her character just yet.

On February 13, this news was shared through social media handles of Lisa’s own label, LLOUD.

Initially, there were reports about Lisa possibly appearing in the second season of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon. She has surprised everyone with the latest announcement of joining The White Lotus for its third season.

Lisa’s role in the upcoming project hasn’t been announced yet. However, according to the American media ‘Variety’, she will be credited under her real name, Lalisa Manobal.

The lineup for The White Lotus looks promising with actors like Leslie Bibb, Dom Hetrakul, Jason Isaacs, Michelle Monaghan, Parker Posey, Christian Friedel, Patrick Schwarzenegger, and more.

When Lisa introduced her label, she spoke about “pushing boundaries and breaking barriers.” It is safe to say fans can expect some seriously exciting and pleasantly surprising announcements from her in the future.

It’s exciting to see BLACKPINK members taking on acting challenges. Recently, Jisoo was confirmed to appear in Zombie thriller Influenza and Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint.
