BLACKPINK’s Lisa is cooking up something special for her upcoming album! The BLACKPINK rapper has confirmed that she is teaming up with a mystery artist she has been eager to work with for a long time.
On January 14, Lisa appeared as a guest on the French Radio Station “NRJ” to spill some details about her forthcoming album “ALTER EGO”.
During her interview, The “LALISA” rapper revealed that one of the songs from “ALTER EGO” is set to feature an artist she previously mentioned to collaborate with.
Fans think Lisa’s new collab is with one of three artists: Doja Cat, Sabrina Carpenter, or Tyla. During an interview in October last year, she revealed who she wants to collaborate with next, saying, “For now, it’s Doja Cat”.
In addition, both Tyla and Lisa have expressed their desire to work together on a song. Further, the K-pop star is also close friends with “Espresso” singer Sabrina Carpenter. There is a high chance that “ALTER EGO” will feature a collaboration from either of the three artists. She previously collaborated with Rosalía on the new song.
Lisa has introduced two of her alter egos so far Roxi and Sunni, with Speedi, Kiki, and Viki yet to be announced. She introduced Roxi as “This is why I live, it’s to entertain, always command the stage”.
Her other alter ego Sunni is someone who likes kittens, banana milk, and sun chips.
The tracklist and other teasers are not yet revealed, however, her previous solo digital singles “Rockstar”, “New Woman”, and “Moonlit Floor” are included.
In related news, Lisa also teased that BLACKPINK is making a comeback soon. As per reports, they will make a comeback in May followed by a world tour.
Meanwhile, Lisa’s “ALTER EGO” will be available on various music platforms on February 28.
