Back in April, she signed with RCA Records to release new solo music under this label.

Two months later, the Money rapper teased her long-awaited solo comeback with a teaser image through her label LLOUD’s website.

Moreover, she shared her first TikTok, teasing new music. Her TikTok account surpassed 1 million followers in over 2 hours and became the fastest K-pop to achieve this milestone. Previously, the record was held by BTS’ Jungkook.

Previously, she debuted as a soloist with her first single album, LALISA, in 2021. Money, a track from Lisa’s solo single, LALISA, recently hit 1 billion views on YouTube.

On her birthday, she dropped hints about releasing a solo album this year. Moreover, there are rumors that she might be collaborating with international artists Tyla and Rosalía for new music.

Furthermore, this will be her first album release after parting ways with YG Entertainment and setting up her personal label, LLOUD.

Besides her, other BLACKPINK members Jennie, Jisoo, and Rosé are also gearing up for a new music release.
