Lisa’s ‘ALTER EGO’ album is coming, and it’s going to be HUGE!
The BLACKPINK maknae is set to release her highly anticipated full-length album, “ALTER EGO”, in February 2025.
This upcoming album is part of her solo endeavors, and she has already set the mood with her singles “ROCKSTAR”, “New Woman”, featuring Rosalia, and “MOONLIT FLOOR” which samples Sixpence None the Richer’s “Kiss Me.”
These singles received massive attention from fans and went viral on social media platforms. “ROCKSTAR” debuted at No. 70 while “New Woman” entered the Billboard HOT 100 at No. 97.
As a solo artist, Lisa has been exploring new sounds and concepts, and fans are excited to see what new things she has tried with the album “ALTER EGO.”
Her debut solo single album “Lalisa” in 2021 was a major commercial success, earning her multiple awards, including the MTV Video Music Award for Best K-Pop in 2022.
This year, she won Best K-Pop again at MTV VMAs and two awards at MTV EMAs. In addition, 2024 was a monumental year for her as Lisa headlined the Global Citizen Festival and Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.
Lillies are eagerly awaiting “ALTER EGO”, especially after the release of multiple teasers. Additionally, she will make her acting debut in “The White Lotus” as Mook, first look has already been released.
With her own agency, LLOUD, Lisa is taking charge of her solo projects, and this album is expected to be a reflection of her unique style and creativity.
BLINKs are looking forward to solo activities of BLACKPINK members, with Rosé debut album “rosie” slated to release on December 6. Jennie is also working on a studio album and Jisoo is set to make a comeback in early 2025. Next year, they will regroup and begin full-fledged group activities and embark on a world tour.
Meanwhile, Lisa’s “ALTER EGO” will hit music platforms on February 28, 2025.
