BLACKPINK’s Next Album Coming in November, TREASURE and BABYMONSTER Gear Up for Busy Season

BLACKPINK, BABYMONSTER, and TREASURE

On August 18 at midnight KST, YG Entertainment’s founder, Yang Hyun Suk, unveiled a series of highly anticipated updates regarding some of the company’s biggest groups. The announcement included comeback schedules, album details, tours, and even a new reality program.

These updates have excited fans of BLACKPINK, TREASURE, and BABYMONSTER.

TREASURE Launches “SECOND ACT” with LOVE PULSE EP and Expanded Tour

TREASURE will open a new chapter in their career with the release of their third mini album, LOVE PULSE, on September 1 at 6 PM KST. Described by Yang Hyun Suk as the group’s “SECOND ACT”, the record features four retro-inspired tracks:

Yang shared that TREASURE begins a new chapter, “SECOND ACT” five years into their debut, saying

I feel like the last 5 years that TREASURE spent as teenagers were their ‘first act.’ I want to share with all the fans that the album TREASURE is releasing on September 1st will mark the beginning of their ‘second act.’

To celebrate, TREASURE will hold a stadium concert in Thailand and a dome show in Osaka, their first large-scale venue concerts. The group’s tour will begin with a “Pulse On” show in Seoul, before expanding into Japan and other Asian markets.

Regarding this tour, Yang Hyun Suk shared

From October to next May, they have got tour dates lined up, more dates will be added as we go.

BABYMONSTER Confirms Comeback and Reality Show

BABYMONSTER is also preparing for a busy year-end season. Their second mini album, WE GO UP, has been rescheduled for release on October 10, 2025, pushed back from its original October 1 date. Yang Hyun Suk revealed the reason for delaying the album release

Korea celebrates Chuseok over a long period in early October, but it’s just logistically inconvenient to release and distribute the album then.

The track Hot Sauce, first listed on their 2nd mini album WE GO UP, has now been designated as a standalone summer single.

The record will include four songs:

In addition, BABYMONSTER has already finished recording “80%-90%” of the songs that will drop in 2026.

In addition, Hyun Suk revealed that the group has completed filming their first reality series, BAEMON HOUSE

This time, following ‘BLACKPINK HOUSE,’ we have planned something called ‘BAEMON HOUSE.’ We got a big house (in Hongdae), and we have already finished filming the members all living together there.

Inspired by BLACKPINK’s BLACKPINK House, the show will premiere in September. It will offer fans an intimate glimpse into the members’ daily lives and comeback preparations.

Sharing his goals for BABYMONSTER as a producer, YG’s executive producer shared

In 3 years, I hope these girls will become big enough artists to take the stage in stadiums.

BLACKPINK Preparing a New Album for Late 2025

Perhaps the most anticipated news was the update on BLACKPINK. While Yang Hyun Suk did not disclose specific track details or concepts, he confirmed that the quartet is working on a new album, aiming for release by November 2025.

BLACKPINK members, and producers in charge of them, are working hard preparing the album. I’m hoping for BLACKPINK’s album to be out by November, at the latest.

He emphasized the group’s focus on quality, reassuring fans that BLACKPINK’s return will be worth the wait.

To sum up, TREASURE’s retro-inspired comeback and tour, BABYMONSTER’s new music paired with a reality program, and BLACKPINK’s new album are in the pipeline. Without a doubt, YG Entertainment is preparing for one of its busiest and most impactful seasons yet.
