BLACKPINK members are on a roll, announcing solo comebacks one after the other!
Following Lisa and Jennie, Rosé shared the 1st teaser for her solo debut album, rosie, scheduled to release in December.
BLACKPINK’s Rosé Teases Fans with a Snippet of Her New Song ‘Vampirehollie’Ahead of the album release, it is expected that the 28-year-old singer will drop a pre-release single, Vampirehollie. The single was first teased on her birthday in February, a snippet of the song caused quite a stir.
She took to Instagram to share her journey of working on her first full-length album, “I cannot believe I am finally announcing my first album release to you all. I remember last year as our year long tour ended, I found myself in a session out here in LA. That led on to a year of walking in and out of the studio, writing songs with songwriters and producers I had met for the first time, trying to figure out the next chapter in my career.”
She worked hard on her studio album for over a year and looking forward to sharing it with the fans, “I have poured my blood and tears into this album. I can’t wait for you to listen to this little journal of mine.”
Notably, this will be her first solo release after parting ways with YG Entertainment and signing a solo deal with Atlantic Records.
On October 1, Rosé shared a post on her Finsta, hinting at a comeback announcement soon. On October 2 at midnight (KST), the dreamy teaser for her first-ever studio album rosie was dropped.
She debuted as a soloist with the single album R in 2021, containing songs On The Ground and Gone as well as their instrumental versions. She achieved the highest-charting entry by a female K-pop soloist on Billboard HOT 100, with On The Ground debuting at #70.
Over the years Rosé has grown as a soloist and never fails to impress BLINKs with her singing skills. Expectations are high for her full-length album rosie, which is being released over 3 years after her last solo release.
October is shaping up to be an exciting month for BLACKPINK enthusiasts, with Jennie and Lisa slated to release new music. Lisa’s “MOONLIT FLOOR” arrives on October 3, while Jennie’s “Mantra” drops on October 11.
On another note, Rosé is set to drop rosie on December 6, the album is available for pre-save. BLACKPINK will bring the heat in 2025 with a comeback and a world tour.
