BLACKPINK’s Rosé continues to make chart-topping history!
Her latest lead single, “toxic till the end”, has secured a spot on the prestigious Billboard HOT 100 chart, marking her third solo entry on the coveted list.
On December 17 (local time), Billboard Chart revealed that Rosé “toxic till the end” entered the HOT 100 chart at No. 90.
She entered the chart for the first in 2021 with the single “On The Ground” at No. 70, the highest-charting entry by a K-pop female solo artist at the time.
Her latest smashing hit “APT.” with Bruno Mars debuted at No. 8, the highest peak for a K-pop female act. With her latest achievement, Rosé has become the only K-pop female soloist to chart multiple songs simultaneously on the Billboard HOT 100.
“toxic till the end” landed at the sixth spot on Billboard Global 200 Excl. US with 50.4 million streams. On the other hand, “APT.” tops the Global 200 Excl. US.
As of December 17, the music video had surpassed 44 million views on YouTube. Additionally, it debuted at number 72 on the UK’s Official Singles Top 100 chart.
Rosé explores the dark side of love in her latest single, “toxic till the end.” This emotional ballad tells the story of a toxic relationship that’s impossible to escape despite the pain and longing it brings.
It is the lead single of her debut studio album “rosie” dropped on December 6. Evan Mock plays Rosé’s love interest in the “toxic till the end” music video. He’s a skateboarder, model, and actor, known for his role as Archie Menzies in the US series “Gossip Girl.”
Her album “rosie” secured the 3rd spot on Billboard 200 with 102,000 units sold.
