BTS as a full group appears on the cover of GQ magazine’s March 2026 issue. The seven members make history with 15 international covers as they prepare for their comeback. The seven members are coming together with new experiences and solo projects after almost four years.
On February 13, GQ released a pictorial with the world-famous group, BTS. This is their first magazine shoot in years.
A new photograph shows them in sharp suits, surrounded by microphones, bathed in light. It appears on newsstands in South Korea, USA, UK, Japan, Mexico, Germany, Thailand, Spain, Italy, the Middle East, Australia, and more.
The microphones are more than props. They show that the world is ready to listen to BTS again.
The cover and photos show seven individuals functioning as one. In a video shared on GQ’s social media, their movements sync with the camera naturally.
This is their first full-group photoshoot since military service and the first glimpse of BTS in 2026.
Looking back to 2013, BTS was a small-label hip-hop group handing out flyers on the streets of Seoul. Few could have imagined they would one day perform at the United Nations or that news of their military hiatus would make headlines across the world. In 2026, they returned not only to perform together again but to make history with their “billion-dollar” comeback.
When BTS began their military service in 2022, many wondered if the group could survive this long pause. During the break, each member pursued solo work. Jin released mini-albums, Happy and Echo.
j-hope headlined Lollapalooza and released multiple chart-topping singles. RM released Right Place, Wrong Person while serving in the military. Jungkook became a global solo sensation with Golden, containing hit tracks Seven, 3D, and Standing Next To You.
V explored jazz with his debut album, Layover and follow-up digital singles. Jimin dominated charts for months with his sophomore album and title track, Who. Suga toured as Agust D before enlisting as a social service worker. Even while following their individual paths, the group’s bond remained strong.
Jimin told GQ Korea, “We know we are here because we are a team.” The 30-year-old singer added, “We started as a team, and we recognize that very well.” V added, “All of us treasure BTS more than we treasure ourselves individually.”
On their new album Arirang, Suga said, “It is going to be quite different from previous BTS albums. You will see a more mature side of us.”
RM added, “It’s truly the whole package.” The album will be released on March 20 and has fourteen tracks.
RM explained their creative process: “We worked in a house with several studio spaces. Sometimes we paired up, sometimes we worked alone, then switched partners. Sometimes it went wrong, sometimes it went really well. It was freeing.”
About the pressure, Jimin said, “It shows how emotionally invested RM is in the group and in ARMY.” V added, “He’s the leader, so he feels more pressure than the rest of us.”
V also shared a moment before their military service: “Jungkook cried because he really wanted to perform.” Jungkook laughed and said he didn’t remember.
The members have also grown in style. Jungkook has developed a unique fashion sense that blends high-end Western brands with Asian streetwear. He wears items from Korean labels like F8ke Chemical Club while serving as a Calvin Klein ambassador since 2023.
He recently became an ambassador for CHANEL’s beauty and fragrance line and the Swiss watch brand, Hublot. Fans have even called him the “Sold Out King,” because items he wears often sell out instantly.
Fans appreciate BTS for many reasons. Some love the music, which spans hip-hop, R&B, EDM, ballads, and lo-fi. Others connect with the messages of mental health, self-love, and the challenges of ambition.
BTS’s songs, often co-written by the members, tackle topics like insecurity, grief, and creative burnout. Hits like Spring Day and Black Swan address difficult emotions, while songs like Dynamite and Butter show their lighter sides
About their new music, the group is cautious but focused. “We are approaching the album with the same mindset we had when we first started,” the group said in a livestream in summer 2025
Meanwhile, BTS upcoming album, ARIRANG, arrives on March 20, followed by an extensive world tour in April.
