BTS’ J-Hope Begins Countdown as Military Discharge Date Approaches

J-Hope shares a photo from military

While it may still seem long for ARMYs, BTS’ J-Hope is getting discharged from the military in 10 days.

Yes, another potential BTS reunion is on the horizon as well.

On October 7, J-Hope took to Weverse to share a photo of his backpack with the caption “D-10.” He is set to be discharged from the military on October 17.

He is the second BTS member to be discharged from the military after Jin completed his service on June 12.

All BTS members except Suga arrived at the military camp to welcome Jin and later shared a group photo from HYBE headquarters. It is expected that they will reunite once again at the discharge ceremony of J-Hope.

He is assigned to 36th Infantry Division Baekho Recruit Training Center, serving as a drill instructor.

On Chuseok (September 17), exactly one month before his discharge, J-Hope shared a lengthy, heartfelt emotional Weverse. He shared his feelings as his military discharge nears, saying that he grew fond of everything there and has begun packing.

ARMYs are excited as they look forward to seeing Jin and J-Hope partake in fun activities. Jin already has a plan to “kidnap” J-Hope and drag him to the filming site of “Run Jin.”

On another note, while J-Hope is returning to civilian life, the remaining BTS members (RM, Suga, Jimin, V, and Jungkook) will complete military service in June 2025.
