J-Hope, a member of BTS’s dynamic rap line, has completed his military service and is now back to civilian life.
The 30-year-old rapper, who enlisted on April 18, 2023, was discharged on October 17, concluding his military service with distinction. Throughout his tenure, he earned admiration for his charitable acts and dedication to duty.
To celebrate J-Hope’s return, beautiful banners and bus ads popped up everywhere, filled with adorable messages.
As previously announced by BIGHIT MUSIC, there is no special event planned for his discharge, and fans refrained from visiting the site.
Sadly, ARMYs were unable to witness a BTS reunion for his military discharge, as only Jin was there to welcome him.
Fans were hoping that all seven members would come together again, just like they did in June for Jin’s discharge ceremony. There is a possibility they might reunite later at HYBE headquarters, however, it is not yet confirmed.
During his military service, J-Hope was stationed at the Baekho New Recruit Training Battalion, 36th Division, in Wonju, Gangwon Province, where served as an assistant instructor.
He is the second BTS member to complete military service after Jin. Jin completed his military service on June 12 and was welcomed by BTS members on the discharge day.
As Jin has been keeping busy since his military discharge in June, participating in TV shows, events, and solo album prep, all eyes are on J-Hope to see if he will match or surpass Jin’s pace.
BTS is set to resume group activities in mid-2025 once the remaining members (Suga, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook) complete military service.
