After releasing the teaser trailer, BTS member J-Hope dropped the main trailer for his documentary series HOPE ON THE STREET on the group’s official social media at midnight on March 14 (Korean time).
The documentary delves into J-Hope’s 12th debut anniversary journey, focusing on his exploration of his dream through dance, reflecting on his past, present, and future.
The Arson rapper is shown embarking on a ‘dance tour’ to destinations like Osaka, Japan, Paris, France, New York, USA, as well as Seoul and Gwangju, Korea.
In the main trailer, J-Hope kicked things off by saying, “It started with dance, and that dancing led to many other things.” He candidly shares the reasons behind planning this documentary series.
The 30-year-old idol linked up with dancers from different street dance scenes like Popping, House, Hip Hop, and Locking in every city he visited. He talked about the experience of connecting and growing through ‘dance’ in the urban setting.
This documentary and special album HOPE ON THE STREET VOL.1, which originated from J-Hope’s concept, were organized and created with the central theme of ‘dance’. Each episode of the documentary and the tracks featured in the special album are intricately linked in terms of content, message, and music.
The premiere episode of HOPE ON THE STREET is set to drop at midnight on March 28. The video will be available in 240 countries/regions globally via TVING, an online video service (OTT), and Prime Video, a worldwide online video service.
