What is HOPE ON THE STAGE THE MOVIE About?
This isn’t just a regular concert film—it’s the grand finale of j-hope’s solo journey so far. The movie was filmed during his two-night encore shows at Goyang Stadium, South Korea, on June 13 and 14, 2025, the perfect closing chapter to his global tour.
The setlist is a celebration of his career, blending tracks from across his discography. Fans can look forward to explosive performances of solo favorites like “Arson,” “More,” “NEURON,” and “MONA LISA.” At the same time, he pays homage to his BTS roots with unique solo renditions of classics such as “MIC Drop,” “Silver Spoon,” and “Dis-ease.”
To make things even more special, the film features exclusive behind-the-scenes footage that shows j-hope’s personality off-stage, along with some special guest appearances. Fellow BTS members Jin and Jungkook join him on stage, along with Korean R&B artist Crush.
Perhaps the biggest highlight? The world premiere performance of his unreleased track “Killin’ It Girl (Solo Version)” will be shown for the first time in this movie.
Why This Tour Movie Matters
The HOPE ON THE STAGE tour itself was a major milestone in j-hope’s career. Covering 31 concerts across 16 cities in Asia and North America, it was his first solo world tour and a clear sign of his global influence as a performer outside of BTS.
Marc Allenby, CEO of Trafalgar Releasing, summed up the importance of this project perfectly, noting that it “not only celebrates j-hope’s connection with fans, but also marks the 12th anniversary milestone in BTS’s journey,”
This concert film also arrives at an exciting time for BTS fans. While j-hope shines with his solo work, all seven BTS members are currently back in the studio working on new music together, with a full group comeback and new album planned for spring 2026, followed by a world tour.
