After making a debut as a soloist in March 2023 and releasing a fan song titled Closer Than This, BTS’ Jimin will be returning to the music scene once more.

Previously, it was reported by K-media outlets that Jin along with the two recently enlisted members will release albums this year.

On April 7, BIGHIT MUSIC released behind-the-scenes footage for SUGA | Agust D Tour ‘D-DAY’ in Seoul. In the newly released photo, SUGA is seen asking Jimin for his availability in August to perform Tony Montana at the encore concert.

To which Jimin answers saying, “In August, yes I’m done with my album now.”

Then, SUGA asks if the album is ready, and Jimin answers with a yes, confirming the production process is all wrapped up.

Despite being in the military, BTS members have managed to stay in the limelight. Since the beginning of the year, fans got to witness BTS’ V starring in IU’s Love Wins All and released a song titled FRI(END)S last month.

In addition, J-Hope released a special album HOPE ON THE STREET VOL.1 along with a docuseries.

Since two BTS members have already made comebacks, fans are expecting that BIGHIT MUSIC might announce Jimin’s album next.

On another note, Jimin is serving in the military along with Jungkook and keeps the fans in the loop with frequent updates.
