Jimin from BTS has been honored with a Hall of Fame induction for his impactful generosity.

The Nam-gu Hometown Love Donation System Donor Hall of Fame was recently launched on the Busan Nam-gu Office website. They have now published the names of individuals who generously donated over 3 million won through the Hometown Love Donation System.

The Busan Nam-gu Office website has shared details about 7 significant donors, with Jimin being the only celebrity on the list. In August of last year, he made a generous love donation of 5 million won, his largest contribution, to support his hometown.

Jimin’s father, who is actively involved in community service, runs a private cafe in Nam-gu, Busan. According to an official from Nam-gu, Busan, they confirmed that Jimin did indeed donate 5 million won to the district, and they expressed gratitude, believing that the donation was recommended by Jimin’s father.

Jimin has been consistently making generous donations. He contributed 100 million won each in scholarships to the Busan, Jeonnam, and Gangwon education offices. Additionally, he supported his alma mater, Hoedong Elementary School, by covering the cost of school uniforms, and he helped Busan Arts High School by replacing desks and chairs.

In February of last year, Jimin donated 100 million won to the Korean Committee of Unicef. This donation was used to provide emergency relief supplies to children and families affected by the earthquake in Turkey and Syria.

He has also been actively involved in improving educational environments. In August of the same year, he pledged to donate 100 million won to the ‘Child Power Book Bom Child Love Book Donation’ project organized by the Chungcheongbuk-do Office of Education.

On another note, the members of BTS are currently fulfilling their military service duties. Jin, J-Hope, RM, V, Jimin, and Jungkook have enlisted in the military, while SUGA is serving as a social worker.
