Seoul just got a whole lot cooler!
Jin, aka the “Worldwide Handsome” and member of BTS, has been appointed as the Honorary Seoul Tourism Ambassador!
On August 20, Jin was named the new face of Seoul tourism, taking on the role of ambassador to promote the city’s attractions and experiences to the world.
Last year, BTS member V became the Tourism ambassador for Seoul and filmed captivating campaigns to lure tourists.
BTS members have collaborated with ‘Visit Seoul’ from time to time to promote tourism. Since other members have been serving in the military, Jin is taking the reins and highlighting Seoul’s attractions to foreigners.
A campaign promoting the city featuring Jin will be released soon. Previously, NewJeans caused a major stir by becoming the ambassador for Korean Tourism.
On the other hand, Jin has been in the headlines since his military discharge on June 12. He has not rested a single day and is busy filming various fun content for fans. Additionally, he has been announced as a global ambassador for FRED and Gucci.
He has graced the cover of multiple fashion magazines, became an Olympic torchbearer, launched a RUN BTS spin-off version RUN Jin, and more. Most importantly, he is working on his debut album, which is coming out in the second half of 2024.
