Even though BTS’ Jungkook is currently serving as an active-duty soldier in the military, he has not forgotten about the ARMY at all.

On June 7, a fan song sung by Jungkook , Never Let Go, was released as part of the celebrations for BTS’ 11th debut anniversary celebrations.

Right after the song was released, he shared a heartfelt post on Weverse, saying, “Did you get the gift for the song? I hope you like it :), I worked on it thinking about you from the beginning.”

The Seven singer went on to say, “You might wonder if the hook is repeated for a long time. Actually, it’s a song that I wanted to show you along with the house genre dance. It’s a performance song but I didn’t have time so I couldn’t go through with it.”

He regretted not filming the performance video for Never Let Go, “It’s a shame, if I was to turn back time I would have filmed it somehow so I am leaving this post hoping that you will understand (blaming myself right now).”

Jungkook then thanked ARMYs for showing support, “Anyways our 11th year anniversary has already come, thank you for always being with us. I hope you do not get sick and stay healthy. It’s summer so it’s really hot so be careful of the heat.”

On another note, while other members have some time to be discharged from the military, Jin is returning on June 12.
