After announcing the Global Artist Chart 2023, IFPI released a list of 2023 Global Single Chart on February 26.
Jungkook from BTS, who gained a lot of attention with his solo single Seven featuring Latto, hit multiple milestones. He even reached the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart and broke numerous records.
Now, his hit song Seven has secured a spot in the Top 10 of the Global Single Chart 2023 by IFPI. Seven by Jungkook sits at the 10th spot on the IFPI’s prestigious list.
Jungkook is the only K-pop artist who made it onto the list alongside big names like Selena Gomez, Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus, Rema, The Weeknd, Ariana Grande, and many more.
IFPI described Jungkook’s SEVEN as an ‘instant global hit’, and rightfully so. The song broke multiple charts and streaming records in Korea and abroad.
Taylor Swift’s songs Cruel Summer and Anti-Hero snagged the 7th and 9th spots on the list. Miley Cyrus’ hit song Flowers topped the IFPI’s Global Single Chart for 2023.
Previously, Stray Kids, TXT, NewJeans, IVE, and NCT Dream secured spots in the Top 15 of the Global Artists list.
