On January 30, The Recording Industry Association of Japan just released their official list of streaming-certified works on their website. It included all the songs that have been played over 50 million times as of December last year.

BTS’ title song ON from their 4th full-length album Map of the Soul: 7 has received platinum certification. To top it off, the song has already reached over 100 million cumulative views!

The association gives out different streaming certifications based on the total number of song plays. They have Gold for over 50 million views, Platinum for over 100 million views, and Diamond for over 500 million views.

Previously, BTS has dominated the certified list with their hit songs. Dynamite reached an impressive milestone of over 500 million plays and received diamond certification. Permission to Dance and Butter also achieved triple platinum certification by surpassing 300 million streams.

Stay Gold and Boy With Luv have reached over 200 million views and earned double platinum certification.

Just recently, SEVENTEEN also earned RIAJ Gold certification for their three iconic songs

On another note, all the members of BTS are currently fulfilling their military service obligations. They have full activities planned for the second half of 2025.
