BTS RM’s ‘Intro: Persona’ Achieves Over 100 Million YouTube Views Almost 5 Years After Release

RM of BTS Intro Persona

RM from BTS hit over 100 million views on YouTube with content released five years ago.

On March 22, BIGHIT MUSIC shared that RM’s solo track Intro: Persona from BTS’ 6th mini-album Map of the Soul: Persona reached this milestone around 6 PM the day before.

RM dropped the mentioned song back in 2019. The video gives off a vibe like a sci-fi film. It features digital human-like figures created using 2D graphic animation and 3D scanning techniques.

The vibrant graphic methods catch the eye. Following RM’s performance, his larger-than-life persona shines through with exciting camera angles and motion capture, a tech that mirrors real movements in computer graphics.

Intro: Persona samples the beat from BTS’ debut album Skool Luv Affair. It incorporates guitar sounds, a hip-hop rhythm in the trap genre, and organ elements.

At present, BTS, led by RM, is fulfilling military service duties. They are expected to resume full activities in the latter part of 2025.
