BTS member V has sent a message of support to tennis player Shin Yubin on Instagram, wishing her luck as she competes in the 2024 Paris Olympics.

On July 27, the Slow Dancing singer shared a screenshot from the KBS Olympic broadcast on his Instagram story, during the introduction of South Korean athletes.

Notably, the broadcast capture highlighted kimchi, hanbok, and BTS as iconic representatives of Korean culture.

In another screenshot, V wrote a message of support for Tennis player Shin Yubin, who is participating in the Paris Games.

He wrote a caption, saying, “Yubin, fighting, table tennis! Fighting, South Korea!,” and added a clapping emoji.

The Tennis player Shin Yubin revealed to be a fan of BTS on an MBC show, Hangout with Yoo. She is a V-baised ARMY, and the Love Me Again singer has cheered for her on several occasions.

Shin Yubin confessed on the show that she was deeply moved when BTS’ V showed his support for her on social media. After the Olympic games, while on the bus to the athletes’ village, she received a notification that V had uploaded a photo of her with the message ‘Fighting!’

RM also showed his support for the Korean athletes participating in the Paris Olympics by sharing a screenshot of the broadcast. Not to mention, Jin carried the Olympic flame in Paris on July 14.

Previously, there was a lot of uproar when South Korea was introduced as North Korea during the opening ceremony of the Paris Olympics 2024.

On another note, BTS’ V enlisted in the Special Mission Team (SDT) of the Army Capital Defense Command last year and was subsequently assigned to the Ssangyong Unit of the 2nd Army Corps in Chuncheon, Gangwon-do in February this year.

He is currently fulfilling his military service and is expected to be discharged on June 10, 2025.
