BTS’ V Opens up on Suchwita About How SUGA’s ‘I Love You Text’ Made Him Feel

BTS V on Suchwita

In a recent interview on Suchwita, BTS’ V opened up about the impact of SUGA’s infamous ‘I Love You’ text. At the 2018 Festa Dinner, BTS V revealed that he received a long text from SUGA that ended with ‘I love you.’ The Love Me Again singer revealed that he cried after reading the text. Later, Jungkook also shared that he received a text from Suga, and it ended with the words “I love you.”

At the festa dinner, SUGA seemed a bit shy when V mentioned the message. Nearly 5 years later, V and SUGA talked about the infamous message on Suchwita. V recounted the year 2018 when BTS members were having a hard time.

At that time, the group was going through contract renewal and there was a lot of uncertainty surrounding the future. The Haegeum singer revealed on Suchwita that as he, RM, and J-Hope were writing Tear, he sent a long text to Jungkook and V saying ‘I love you.’

V shared that the heartfelt gesture had a significant impact on him, especially considering the challenging period they were all experiencing back then.

The Slow Dancing singer stated, ‘After seeing that, Jungkook and I found the will to continue. V was taken aback because SUGA rarely expresses himself in that way. Hence, the text sent by SUGA felt very ‘sincere.’ V, further, revealed that he got through another two years because of the text and was able to get back on his feet.
