BTS V FRI(END)S

BTS’ V has been making headlines with his latest single, FRI(END)S, released on March 15. The song recently achieved an all-kill on iTunes by topping all major music markets including Japan, the US, the UK, France, Canada, Australia, Germany, and Brazil.

On March 21, an interview with BTS’ V was released on W Korea’s YouTube channel. He revealed that FRI(END)S was meant to be included in his debut album, Layover. However, he opted to release it separately which led to a two-year delay.

Regarding the song, FRI(END)S, the Slow Dancing singer shared, “FRI(END)S was supposed to be included in the Layover album, but I thought it would be better to release this song separately, so it was put on hold for about 2 years.”

He described FRI(END)S a ‘song full of memories’. The BTS Vocalist added, “I listened to this song with my close friend and close brothers. I told them I’d definitely release this song one day.”

V also shared his favorite lyrics from the song, “But once it cross the line, there is an eye, You and I can’t never turn around.”

Lastly, V along with all BTS members is serving in the military, and scheduled to resume activities as a group in the latter half of 2025.
