BTS V’s adorable dog Kim Yeontan has crossed the rainbow bridge.

On December 2, the 29-year-old K-pop idol shared the heartbreaking news on Instagram along with dozens of his posts of his pet dog affectionately known as Tannie.

He also posted videos and a heartfelt note on his Instagram story stating, “The reason I am writing to you all today is because, recently, Yeontan embarked on a long journey to the stars.”

V added, ‘I thought a lot about how to share this news with you, but I felt that it was only right to let ARMYs, who have shown so much love to Yeontan, know, so I am sharing this news now. I believe Yeontan would feel happy if ARMYs also remember him fondly as he sets off on this long journey.”

V’s pet dog, Kim Yeontan, was a Pomeranian who had multiple health issues and underwent several surgeries.
