BTS V’s solo song Slow Dancing has achieved an incredible milestone, with over 300 million streams on Spotify.

As of February 15, Slow Dancing has reached over 300 million streams on Spotify, which is the largest music platform in the world. This makes it the fourth song by V to achieve this milestone, joining the ranks of Sweet Night, Christmas Tree, and Love Me Again.

V has made history as the first K-pop solo singer to have four solo songs surpass 300 million streams on Spotify.

Slow Dancing, the title track from V’s solo album Layover, is a pop R&B song with a touch of soul from the 1970s and jazz elements that give it a dreamy and trendy vibe. V’s smooth and romantic vocals, along with the flute performance in the latter part of the song, create a sense of leisurely freedom and tranquility.

The music video for Slow Dancing, which was filmed on the beautiful beaches of Mallorca, Spain, caught everyone’s attention. It showcased unique scenery with every scene change and told V’s autobiographical yet dreamlike story, weaving between ideals and reality.

The stage for Slow Dancing was planned as a freestyle dance performance, showcasing V’s ‘stage genius’ with groovy and improvised choreography. Each performance had a fresh charm that was unique every time. Slow Dancing truly embodies V’s originality and highlights his individuality as a solo artist, different from his work with BTS.
