BTS’s Jimin and Jungkook Arrive Back in Seoul After Vietnam Trip

Jungkook and Jimin at ICN International Airport after returning from Vietnam

BTS members Jimin and Jungkook are back in South Korea after spending some quiet time together in Vietnam. After enlisting together in December 2023, they finished their military service on June 11 and took a short vacation before jumping back into their busy schedules.

Their return was spotted by fans and local media at Incheon Airport, where they looked relaxed and happy. Photos of their calm airport look quickly made the rounds online. Many fans were glad to see them enjoying a well-deserved break.

Their time in Vietnam is believed to be linked to filming for the second season of their travel show Are You Sure?!. However, some fans were upset that details of their trip were shared without permission. Apparently, Jungkook and Jimin flew to Da Nang, and some videos of their trip are also circulating online.

A Vietnam Airlines flight attendant recently shared his encounter with BTS members, saying it was a dream come true. He chose to respect their privacy instead of asking for selfies or autographs. Instead, he decided to write them a heartfelt note.

He shared, “I never thought that one day I would meet and serve Jungkook and Jimin on a VNA flight. It’s like a dream, guys.”

Feeling nervous after handing them the letter, he quickly walked away, but later heard from the cabin manager that “the two had read it and smiled. Well, I’m satisfied now!

Right after military discharge, Jungkook departed for the United States and was spotted in NYC. There’s no confirmation that Jimin joined Jungkook in the US or that any content was filmed there.

For the first season of Disney+’s Are You Sure?!, the duo went on a fun-filled adventure to the US, Jeju Island, and Sapporo. It’s still not confirmed whether a second season is actually happening or if they were in Vietnam specifically to film content or simply to relax.

Jungkook and Jimin completed their 18th month of active-duty service on June 11, 2025. They greeted the press and fans and expressed gratitude for their unwavering support even during the period when BTS members were not active.

Now back home, Jimin and Jungkook gear up for more solo and group activities this year. Since all BTS members have been discharged from the military, they will resume individual activities while simultaneously working on the BTS comeback, which is reportedly pushed to March 2026.
