Byeon Woo Seok’s agency has recently put forth strict guidelines for fans, prohibiting unauthorized visits to sets and direct gift-giving. This move aims to prioritize the privacy of the Lovely Runner actor and ensure the safety of all parties involved.
Since Lovely Runner gained widespread popularity, the situation has worsened. Fan visits have notably increased, and everywhere he goes, the crowd follows.
On May 30, Varo Entertainment announced new fan guidelines, stating, “Recently, due to the crowds during artist activities, order is broken and safety concerns are arising. We would like to provide guidance to protect our artists and create a more mature fandom culture.”
The agency went on to warn fans against visiting filming sets as it is damaging to the organizers and artists involved, “First, in the case of private schedules, unauthorized visits by some fans are causing serious damage to the organizers, including the artists, so please refrain from visiting unofficial schedules other than the public schedule.”
Establishing the new fan interaction rules, the agency shared, “In order to prevent safety accidents due to on-site congestion when fans visit the site during the official schedule, all actions that are concerned about safety accidents for both fans and artists, including actions such as sticking close to the artist and directly giving letters and gifts, are prohibited.”
The agency has requested fans, asking them to refrain from certain actions to ensure safety and respect for the actor. To prevent accidents during on-site visits, direct delivery of gifts or letters to the actors is prohibited.
Instead, fans are asked to deliver letters or gifts to the manager in charge or send them to the company address, where the management team will ensure they are properly delivered to the artist.
On another note, the tvN Monday-Tuesday drama Lovely Runner bid farewell to viewers on May 28.
