Good news for all the Kdrama fans who were waiting for an update on the highly-anticipated drama, Can This Love Be Translated?
On June 23, it was revealed that the drama had begun filming along with the photos of Kim Seon Ho and Go Yoon Jung from the script reading session.
As per the latest updates, the filming for the drama is expected to continue until February 2025. Furthermore, it will premiere in mid-2025.
Can This Love Be Translated? is written by the famous Hong Sisters (Hong Jung Eun and Hong Mi Ran), known for their previous works Hotel Del Luna and The Greatest Love. It is directed by Yoo Young Eun and produced by Studio Trii.
The drama follows the story of a multilingual interpreter and a woman with a unique approach to love crossing paths. As they navigate their differences, they learn to understand and communicate with each other.
When Joo Ho Jin (played by Kim Seon Ho), a talented interpreter, is hired to work exclusively with renowned actress Cha Moo Hee (portrayed by Go Yoon Jung), their differing views on love lead to initial misunderstandings.
However, as they spend more time together, their conversations become more enjoyable and insightful, paving the way for a deeper understanding.
On another note, Kim Seon Ho is returning to the romance genre after his remarkable performance in Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha in 2021. Go Yoon Jung is also starring in Resident Playbook, which was scheduled to air in the first half of 2024, however, has been reportedly delayed to release next year.
