Cha Eunwoo and Park Eun Bin, who last appeared in A Good Day To Be A Dog and Castaway Diva respectively, are set to lead a new exciting drama.
As reported by Star News on July 26, Cha Eunwoo and Park Eun Bin will be appearing in the new drama The Wonder Fools (tentative title).
Initially called The B Team, The Wonder Fools is a story about imperfect individuals who gain superpowers against their will. Despite initial talks of adapting existing work, the project was redeveloped into a fresh, original story.
Cha Eunwoo stars as Lee Woon Jung, an enigmatic and socially awkward civil servant with a mysterious past. Initially, he is a loner who struggles to open up to others, but his life takes a turn when he meets Eun Chae-ni, played by Park Eun Bin.
The Wonder Fools will be directed by famous director, Yoo In Sik, known for directing Dr. Romantic 3, Extraordinary Attorney Woo, Vagabond, and more. Particularly, he will be reuniting with Park Eun Bin two years after working with her on Extraordinary Attorney Woo.
The script is penned by writer Heo Da Joong, known for writing the movie Extreme Job.
The Wonder Fools is slated to start production in the second half of 2024, with casting nearing completion. A release platform has not been confirmed yet, but the project is moving forward with a collaborative effort from Romantic Crew, Kakao Entertainment, and Fantagio.
Lastly, Cha Eunwoo wrapped up his drama Wonderful World in April and then met fans worldwide through his fan concert ‘2024 Just One 10 Minute [Mystery Elevator]’. On the other hand, Park Eun Bin appeared in Castaway Diva opposite Chae Jong Hyeop and VIXX’s N.
