After his surprise appearance at the APEC Summit, Cha Eunwoo has an exciting release planned for AROHAs. The ASTRO member will drop his sophomore mini-album, “ELSE,” which was originally scheduled for September.

Cha Eunwoo of ASTRO will release his second solo mini-album “ELSE” on November 21, 2025. This comeback is special because he is promoting the album while serving in the South Korean military. Enlisted on July 28, he is fulfilling his mandatory service in the Army’s brass band after completing five weeks of basic training.

“ELSE” will be his first solo album in about one year and nine months, following his debut mini-album “ENTITY” released in February 2024.

According to Fantagio, all the songs were recorded before his enlistment. The album is ready for release, so fans can enjoy it even while he serves.

The agency also released a promotion schedule poster showing a detailed timeline of teaser content. The rollout includes an album preview, tracklist, concept photos, character stories, and music video teasers. Fans have already seen the first “ARS VOICE” teaser and two “Character Story” clips. “ELSE” appears to have a darker and more emotional theme.

Cha Eunwoo’s upcoming album, produced before his enlistment, will reportedly feature two title tracks and accompanying music videos. This release follows his successful debut EP, Entity, which sold over 217,000 copies in its first week and peaked at number two on the Circle Album Chart. The lead single, Stay, featured a music video starring American actress India Eisley, the daughter of Olivia Hussey.

Even while serving, Cha Eunwoo is keeping in touch with fans. He launched a special phone call event, where fans can hear a recorded message from him. In addition, his adventure comedy film, The First Ride, was released on October 29 and has already surpassed 417,000 moviegoers. At the VIP premiere, big stars like Jungkook and Jisoo turned up to support him

During his enlistment, he delighted fans by hosting the 2025 APEC Summit welcome dinner. These activities helped keep him in the public eye ahead of his comeback.

Pre-orders for “ELSE” began on November 3, 2025. The physical album includes a CD, photobook, lyric book, stickers, photocards, postcards, an instant photo, and a folded poster. There are two versions of the album — “FORM 1 (Orange)” and “FORM 2 (Black)” — available through online retailers.

In addition, the 28-year-old singer-actor will continue to engage with fans through previously completed projects, including the Netflix series The WONDERfools.

The WONDERfools is a superpower comedy set in 1999. The show follows a group of awkward town residents who unexpectedly gain superpowers and fight villains threatening their city. He plays a key role alongside Park Eun Bin. Filming concluded in May 2025, and the series is expected to premiere next year.

Mark your calendar for November 21 when “ELSE” hits all music platforms.
